This cycling tour is our toughest and at the same time our most sought-after cycling tour in Transylvania. We developed this tour as a throwback to the good ol' days when even the clasic tours where more about adventure than they were about racing. The idea is to head out to explore two of the best iconic cycling routes you can find in Europe with minimal support. It's all about steep climbing, beautiful hairpins turns and heart pumping descents. The total length of this tour is around 500 kilometers, with more than 7.000 meters elevation gain.
#FREEDOMETOEXPLORE. OUR PROMISE TO YOU.
Experience the thrill of the Grand Tours as you start and end each day in a different landscape.
TWO epic climbs
Climb the two highest roads in Romania, each with more than 2.000 meters in altitude
EXPERIENCED LOCAL GUIDES
Our guides are passionate cyclists and know the Transfagarasan and its surroundings like the back of their palm.
Our guests are supported by at least one expert guide joining them. Luggage is transferred each day from one hotel to another.
All hotels or guesthouses are carefully selected by our team for location, authenticity and character and are personally and constantly reviewed.
DELICIOUS local FOOD
